The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use development at 1016 W Jackson Boulevard in the West Loop. Located on the intersection with S Morgan Street just southwest of Mary Bartelme Park, the new high-rise will replace a relatively young existing office building which was built 10-years ago. Now Mavrek Development is hoping to demolish the structure for the new BKV Group designed plan, with an additional lot across the alley for which no plans have been announced for.
A new permit has been issued for a four-story residential building to be located at 1363 W Hubbard Street in West Loop. Replacing a three-story frame residence, the project is being built by owner Maurice Connolly, whose plans include three total residential units.

The 30-story mixed-use tower at 160 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market District has reached its final height of 350 feet. The project is a joint venture by Sterling Bay and Ascentris, who are bringing 282 rental apartments and two floors of retail space to the rapidly developing neighborhood.
Related Midwest has commenced pre-leasing for The Row Fulton Market, a 300-unit, 43-story mixed-use skyscraper at 164 N Peoria Street in West Loop’s Fulton Market district. The leasing center, located at 950 W Fulton Street, is open for appointments, offering potential residents a glimpse of the diverse floor plans, finishes, views, and amenities that await when the building opens its doors in June.
