Cladding has begun installation for the five-story 1020 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market District. The commercial building will offer ground-floor retail and upper-level Class A offices, with L3 Capital as the developer. The building will have a 1,850-square-foot rooftop deck encased in amenities and 22,000 square feet of interior space with modern finishes, living walls, and warehouse-style windows.

Initial Funds Approved For mHUB Conversion Of 240 N Ashland Avenue In West Loop

The Chicago Community Development Commission has approved initial funds for the redevelopment of the structure at 240 N Ashland Avenue in the West Loop. Located on the southwest corner with W Fulton Street, the famed clocktower building has sat vacant for a few years and is being proposed to become the new home for local incubator mHUB. The non-profit company themselves is behind the efforts, and while no architect has been revealed for the project, a few renderings have also been revealed.

City Council Approves Mixed-Use Tower At 301 S Green Street In West Loop

The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use development at 301 S Green Street in the West Loop. Located south of W Randolph Street, the proposal will bring new rental units to an area of the neighborhood that has seen less construction than its northern counterpart, while also adding some height away from the Eisenhower Expressway cluster of towers. Developers GSP Development and Golub & Company are working together with local firm Goettsch Partners on the new building.
