Plan Commission Approves Mixed-Use Development At 301 S Green Street In West Loop

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 301 S Green Street in the West Loop. Located on the corner with W Jackson Boulevard, the new structure will replace a parking lot and one-story industrial building in the quickly growing area that has seen most of its growth north of W Randolph Street. Co-led by GSP Development and Golub & Company, the tower is being designed by Goettsch Partners who have made a new round of changes after input from various city agencies.

Full Permits Issued for 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market District

As construction continues to makes rapid gains, full permits have now been issued for a 19-story mixed-use building at 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market. LG Development Group has planned to construct a 214-foot-tall structure that will sit on an L-shaped site. The building will include 10,700 square feet of retail space and 363 apartment units. The scope and design have changed slightly prior to construction, having reduced the total units from 414 residences and the height from 239 feet.

Structural Work Now Topped out for Madison + Carpenter Condo Development in West Loop

Steel has officially reached its full height for a six-story condominium building known as “Madison + Carpenter,” located at 6 N Carpenter Street in West Loop. Real estate developer ZSD is planning to construct 13 condominiums, with four- and five-bedroom residences available. The project will replace a set of lower brick buildings that were demolished last year.
