Shapack Partners has received a demolition permit clearing the way for a 29-story mixed-use development at 1353 W Fulton Street. The tower, set to be constructed near the western edge of Fulton Market, will take the place of the current single-story building at 224 N Ada Street. Programming will yield 308 residential units, ground-floor retail, and both resident- and public-facing amenity spaces.
Construction progress continues at the 34-story mixed-use high rise located at 1114 W Carroll Avenue in Fulton Market, with the crane now installed and the central core rising above street level. Trammell Crow Company is developing the 379-foot-tall project, which will replace a former truck rental center and parking lot at the corner of Carroll Avenue and May Street. The development is adjacent to the proposed 315 N May Street, a 410-foot-tall office tower expected to break ground later this year.
Final facade touches have wrapped up for a new five-story mixed-use building at 1020 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market. Within the he developer, L3 Capital, is ground-floor retail and Class A office space above, as well as a 2,500-square-foot rooftop deck.
Now at the 20th floor mark, 225 N Elizabeth Street is steadily approaching its final height of 28 stories in the Fulton Market District. This mixed-use project is already making a significant impact on the cityscape as one of the pioneering new towers in the area. It is part of a transformative wave that will turn the low-rise industrial meatpacking district into a mixed-use urban center with a density comparable to that of Streeterville. The project, a collaboration between Sterling Bay and Ascentris, is taking shape on the site of a former parking lot at the intersection of Fulton Street and Elizabeth Street.
This past week, YIMBY captured the the tower crane disassembly at 160 N Morgan Street, a 30-story mixed-use tower nearing completion in Fulton Market District. This joint venture between Sterling Bay and Ascentris now stands its full 350 feet in height and is set to feature 282 rental apartments situated above 2,657 square feet of retail space.
