The seven-story 812 W Adams Street, a mixed-use building in West Loop, is now undergoing remaining structural installation. Under development by Luxe Suites Chicago, the project will house 80 apartments for rent, along with a retail space spanning 4,200 square feet.
The architectural design for the building has been crafted by Axios Architects and Consultants. It boasts a diverse range of features including bay window extensions, a multi-shade masonry cladding, and cantilevered balconies composed of glass and metal.
Concerning transportation and parking availability, the building plans include 27 parking spaces on-site. In the surrounding area, public parking options are also accessible. The vicinity is well-connected with public transportation services. The Route 8 bus service is reachable within a block to both the north and south, with Route 20 also nearby. Furthermore, Routes 20 and 126 have stops within two blocks in both directions. The UIC-Halsted station offering CTA Blue Line transit is a seven-minute walk to the south of the building. Additionally, the Morgan station for the Green and Pink Lines is located within a 14-minute walk to the northwest.
The construction is being managed by Structures Construction LLC acting as the primary contractor. The project’s completion is forecasted for the later part of the current year.
