Committee On Design Reviews 370-401 N Morgan in Fulton Market

The committee on design is now reviewing two mixed-use high rises at 370 N Morgan Street and 400 N Morgan Street in West Loop‘s Fulton Market. Located on the west side of the intersection with W Kinzie Street, the multi-phase project will eventually see a third tower join it at 401 N Morgan Street on the northeast corner. The three towers are being developed by Vista Properties, whose plans will replace what is currently a mix of surface lots and existing one- to two-story industrial buildings just north of the Metra tracks. Gensler is responsible for the designs.

The fifth and final segment of West Loop Collection at 216-236 S Green Street is now at roof height. The project by POGN Development consists of 40 total condominiums divided up into eight per building in the West Loop. From three-bedroom apartments to five-bedroom penthouses, these magnificent residences offer something for everyone. Prices range from a modest $1 million for the single-level “simplex” to $2 million for a duplex penthouse.

1217 W Washington Receives Foundation Permit in West Loop

An initial foundation permit has been issued for 1217 W Washington Boulevard in West Loop, where DAC Developments has planned for a new 19-story mixed-use tower. Located between two adjacent historic buildings, the site is currently a vacant lot that overlooks the intersection of W. Washington Blvd and N. Willard Ct. DAC Developments is collaborating with Melrose Ascension Capital on the project.

900 Randolph

900 Randolph Street Moves To Third Place In 2022 Countdown

Coming in at third place on this year’s countdown is the first official skyscraper on the list at 900 W Randolph Street in the West Loop. Though it is officially located off of N Peoria Street, the structure replaced a one-story building and its adjacent surface parking lot in the quickly growing area, towering above the busy dining strip. Developer Related Midwest, is also planning The 78 mega-development in the nearby South Loop. New York-based Morris Adjmi Architects is responsible for the development’s industrial-style design.
