With demolition wrapped up and site prep underway, construction permits have now been issued for a 43-story mixed-use skyscraper at 906 W Randolph Street, located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market District. Co-developed by Tucker Development and Related Midwest, construction for the new edifice has been listed under the address 164 N Peoria Street. The development will provide both ground-level retail and 300 apartments on the upper floors, of which 20 percent will be affordable under the Affordable Requirements Ordinance. The developers will also contribute nearly $5 million to the neighborhood opportunity fund, which supports various infrastructure and commercial projects in Chicago’s west and south-side neighborhoods.
Construction is now complete for ZSD Corp‘s residential condominium development known as Peoria Green in West Loop. The six-story structure sits on an asymmetrically-shaped plot, and comprises of two separate wings. The east wing, addressed as 128 S Green Street, houses a total of 12 four-bedroom units, while the west wing at 123 S Peoria Street houses five larger five-bedroom units.
Cladding has begun for a five-story condominium building known at 15 N Elizabeth Street in West Loop. The joint venture known as 15 N Elizabeth LLC, comprised of Ranquist Development Group, Jodi Development, and Campbell Coyle, has planned seven total residences ranging from two-bedroom to five-bedroom units. The smaller layouts begin just under $800,000, while the larger four- and five-bedroom penthouses have been listed at just under $2 million.
