A new permit has been issued for a four-story residential building to be located at 1363 W Hubbard Street in West Loop. Replacing a three-story frame residence, the project is being built by owner Maurice Connolly, whose plans include three total residential units.
The architect of record is Stoneberg + Gross Architects, whose scheme comes with basement level, a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, and a separate detached two-vehicle garage. Drawings or renderings of the design itself could not be found.
Nearest transit options include bus service for Route 65 at Grand & Noble, accessible via a three-minute walk northwest. Meanwhile, the nearest L station is Ashland Station, a 10-minute walk southwest, with trains for the Green and Pink Lines.
Chicago Elite Builders Inc is serving as the general contractor. With construction reported to cost $615,000, no finalized completion date has yet been announced.
