Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story masonry building situated at 720 W Washington Street in West Loop‘s Fulton Market District. The building occupies a portion of a larger development site that is owned by Related Midwest.
This week, Skender and Sterling Bay held a groundbreaking ceremony for 345 N Morgan Street, a new 11-story mixed-use building in West Loop‘s Fulton Market district. Sterling Bay is the developer behind the boutique 200,000-square-foot project, which will yield both ground-level retail and offices on the upper floors. Prior to construction, the site has been occupied by an empty lot, which Sterling Bay acquired in 2014.
Glass has reached the pinnacle of 320 S Canal Street, aka BMO Tower, a 50-story topped-out office tower situated near the southern end of West Loop Gate. At 727 feet, the skyscraper is one of Chicago’s tallest new office buildings, spanning a total of 1.5 million square feet. Amongst this programming will be offices, a fitness center, a conference center, and restaurant venues. The development has been planned by Riverside Investment & Development alongside Convexity Properties.
