The proposed zoning has been approved for a new 15-story office tower at 609 W Randolph Street in West Loop Gate. The project site is an interior lot along W Randolph Street between N Jefferson Street and N Des Plaines Street. Vista Property Group is in charge of the development.
Construction is now complete for 110 N Wacker Drive, aka Bank of America Tower, a 56-story office skyscraper located in The Loop. The 817-foot-tall edifice secures spot number six in Chicago YIMBY’s year-end countdown of tallest new developments.
Core work has reached several floors above grade for Salesforce Tower Chicago, originally known as Wolf Point South, a 60-story office building on the River North side of the Chicago River’s confluence. Planned by Hines in partnership with the Joseph P. Kennedy Family, the skyscraper will measure 813 feet to its pinnacle, qualifying as the seventh tallest project in Chicago YIMBY’s year-end development countdown.
Infrastructure work is well underway for The 78, a 62-acre megadevelopment planned by Related Midwest for the South Loop area. Set to eventually house more than 13 million square feet of building space and cost $7 billion in total, the vast riverside project is being divided into separate phases, the first of which has been dubbed The 78 North.
