Structural work topped out last week for Optima Lakeview, a seven-story development in Lakeview East that will house 14,000 square feet of ground-level retail and 198 apartments above. Optima Inc. is serving as the developer, designer, and general contractor behind the project, located at 3460 N Broadway.
Exterior construction is now complete for a 13-story mixed-use building at 320 N Sangamon Street in West Loop. A joint effort by Tishman Speyer and Mark Goodman & Associates, the 270,000-square-foot project will house a mix of ground-level retail and office space on the above floors. Office floor plates will vary between 24,800 and 28,200 square feet, while stretching 13 feet from slab to slab.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development for Westhaven Park Phase IID in the Near West Side. Located at 1959 W Lake Street, the project site fronts N Damen Avenue spanning from W Lake Street to W Maypole Avenue. The property is located adjacent to the CTA Green Line tracks where a new Damen station is expected. Brinshore Development and The Michaels Organization are the developers behind the proposal.

Sterling Bay and Magellan Development Group have co-planned the 523-foot-tall tower, which will hold 25,000 square feet of retail, a 280-room citizenM hotel, and 289 apartments on the upper floors when complete.
