The parcel address for this permit is 616 E Pershing Road and the owner is listed as Oakwood Shores LLC. This project is part of the larger phase three development that secured TIF funding last year.
Noted Chicago developer Sterling Bay has unveiled ambitious plans to build the city’s largest and tallest timber building since the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. They are planning a nine-story, 130-unit apartment building at 2100 N Southport Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
New construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building located at 1524 N Mohawk Street in Lincoln Park. The owner is listed as Roscore Builders LLC and plans indicate that there will be three total dwelling units. The parcel address is behind 1522 N Mohawk Street and the neighboring building and is addressed as 1526-1528 N Mohawk Street. Demolition permits were issued to 1522 N Mohawk Street earlier this month.
The Chicago City Council has issued landmark status to the Monumental Baptist Church, located at 729 E Oakwood Boulevard in Grand Boulevard. The historic church was established in 1899 by architects Patton, Fisher, and Miller.

The property site is roughly bound by W 16th Street, W Cermak Road, S Halsted Street, and S Western Avenue. The lot was previously home to a multi-unit frame structure and accompanying masonry garages which have since been demolished. Aamir Ukani has been listed as the permit owner.
