Permits were issued on Monday for the construction of a new three-story residential building and a detached two-vehicle garage. The future project will be located at 1462 W Byron Street in Lake View. The owner is listed as Coen Construction and plans indicate that there will be two total dwelling units. Plans indicate the presence of a wooden privacy fence and a six-foot wrought iron fence around the property.

Michael S Cox is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been made public.

Bus service for CTA Routes 22 and 9 can both be accessed from the property site. Route 9 can be found at the Ashland & Grace stop via a five-minute walk south and Route 22 can be found at the Clark & Byron stop via a six-minute walk east. The nearest CTA L Red Lines can be found at the Sheridan station via a 17-minute walk east. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping options along nearby N Ashland Avenue and N Clark Street.

Coen Construction will also act as the general contractor for the $600,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
