Construction at 1122 W Chicago Avenue Reaches Upper Floors in West Town

A demolition permit have been issued for a 1.5-story masonry residential building, located at 2725 W Potomac Avenue in West Town. In February prior to the current demolition permit, the owner Dubbs Enterprises LLC filed under Mark Pimperton was issued a construction permit for a three-story residential building with a basement and three total units. The official floor count has yet to be confirmed, as a currently pending electrical permit lists the new structure’s height as four stories.
Permits have been issued for a three-story residential building planned for West Town. The owner, M14 Land Investments, LLC, is planning four total units for the building, as well as a basement, rooftop deck, and rooftop stair enclosure. For parking, there will also be a detached four-car garage with its own rooftop deck.
Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story frame residential building and a detached frame garage. Located near the eastern end of West Town, the multi-unit structure is owned by Sustainabuild LLC.
The Zoning Board of Appeals has approved the zoning for a new residential development at 719 N Elizabeth Street in West Town. The interior site is located between W Huron Street and W Chicago Avenue. The Chicago CTA L station, serviced by the Blue Line, is a six-minute walk from the site. The 66 CTA bus route, accessed at the Chicago and Elizabeth stop, is a two-minute walk from the site. JL Development LLC is in charge of the project.
