Located just east of the intersection with N Noble Street, the proposal would replace a vacant lot across the street from Rauner College Prep. Developer West Town Gamma Sub LLC is working with local-design firm BLDG PROJ who worked on similar projects across the city.
A construction permit has been issued for a new residential building at 1325 N Artesian Avenue in West Town. The project includes a four-story structure with a basement and three residential units. The filing also mentions a rooftop amenity deck and an open metal porch. The property will replace a vacant lot, which is set back from the main street and accessible via a driveway. Kranti Kambhampati is the listed owner.
Structural work has reached completion at the industrial development site at 1237 W Division Street in West Town. Developed by Logistics Property Company and designed by Ware Malcomb, the project is set to become Chicago’s first Class A, multi-story logistics facility close to downtown. Occupying what was formerly an empty lot and a Peoples Gas facility, the site is adjacent to N Elston Avenue and bordered by Metra UP-N and NW railway tracks.
Construction continues on the residential development at 1712 W Augusta Boulevard in West Town. Located just east of the intersection with N Hermitage Avenue, the new building replaces a vacant lot, closed alley, and a two-story garage structure. Developers Garner Development and Corwin Partners, who work with Jameson and Sotheby’s International, are completing the foundation of the Freedes Studio designed project.
