A permit was approved yesterday for a new two-story residential building to be located at 2442 W Division Street in the West Town neighborhood. The owner is listed as Mahesz Erukulla with plans that indicate this project will feature two units, a metal porch, and a rooftop deck. The permit also indicates the presence of a separate frame garage on site. The lot is currently vacant.
Structural work has reached the fifth floor for an eight-story mixed-use project known as Inspire West Town, developed by Bond Companies. Located at 1140 W Erie Street in West Town, the project’s scope involves ground-floor retail, 113 apartment units, and various amenities. Six of the 113 units will be affordable, while another 17 off-site affordable units will be subsidized by the developer.
Nearly all exterior paneling has been installed on the seven-story mixed-use building known as Nevele22, located at 1122 W Chicago Avenue in West Town. A development by Lipe Property Company, the building’s 97,000 square feet of programming will include 6,000 square feet of commercial space, 97 apartment dwellings, and parking for 39 vehicles.
A new construction permit has been issued for 830 N Marshfield Avenue in West Town, set to yield a new three-story residential building with three apartments. The owner, listed as The Alverna Group LLC, has planned for a basement level, a roof deck, a stairway rear open deck, an open porch, and a detached one-story, three-car garage with its own rooftop deck.
