Construction is now above ground level with crane installation complete for 1045 on Fulton Market. When YIMBY last reported on the progress of the Fulton Market 12-story office development, site excavation was underway. Officially addressed as 1045 W Fulton Market, the project has previously filed permits under 237 N Aberdeen Street and was listed as 1043 W Fulton Market.
Construction has reached the 800-foot-tall mark for the east tower at One Chicago Square, a 2.2 million-square-foot megadevelopment in the northeast corner of River North. Planned by JDL and Sterling Bay, the project involves a pair of 49- and 74-story skyscrapers rising 574 and 971 feet in height, respectively, the latter of which will be Chicago’s eighth tallest building upon its completion.
Structural work has reached the second setback for 320 S Canal Street, aka BMO Tower, a 50-story office skyscraper located in West Loop Gate. Planned by Riverside Investment & Development and Convexity Properties, the 727-foot-tall tower will establish a prominent new peak in downtown’s southwest corner. The development will support 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space, along with features such as floor-to-ceiling windows, finished ceiling heights reaching up to 12 feet, and private terraces on select floors.
Core work for Salesforce Tower Chicago, aka Wolf Point South, now stands at around 20 stories, with the main structural frame beginning to rise around it. Planned by Hines and located at 333 Wolf Point Plaza in the southwest corner of River North, the 60-story office tower serves as the tallest and final staple to the company’s three-act megadevelopment known as Wolf Point.
