A more precise completion date has been revealed for the mixed-use development at 655 W Madison Street in West Loop Gate as we take a closer look at its design. Located directly next to the Kennedy Expressway in the quickly growing neighborhood, the proposal replaces a surface parking lot with a multi-phase two-tower concept. Developer John Buck Company updated their website for the HOK– and JGMA-designed project, which will be managed by local real estate firm Madison Rose which is also in charge of One Chicago.

Updated plans have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 1300 W Carroll Avenue in the West Loop. Located on the northwest corner with N Elizabeth Street and replacing a vacant lot that once held the ADM Wheat Mill silos, the multi-phase project has now received a redesign after feedback from the community and the Department of Planning and Development. Developer Sterling Bay is still working with global design firm SOM on the proposal which received some major changes from its initial announcement in November 2021.

Initial Funding Announced For Bank Redevelopment In Woodlawn

Initial funding has been announced for the mixed-use development at 6300 S Cottage Grove Avenue in Woodlawncovered the plans to restore and redevelop the old Washington Park National Bank building mid-last year. Now plans for the structure located on the southwest corner of the intersection with E 63rd Street received new life thanks to city-approved funding. Developer DL3 Realty has been working on its plans for a few years now and is working with local firm bKL Architecture on this iteration.

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 415 N Sangamon Street in the West Loop. Located on the northeast corner of the intersection with W Kinzie Street the project will break the mold of green-design with an innovative facade. Renderings were revealed earlier this year at a local community meeting, now developer Fortem Voluntas Partners is moving forward with the proposal designed by local firm Eckenhoff Saunders as it begins to gather momentum.
