Salesforce Tower Approaches Completion in River North

The new illuminated signage can be seen atop Chicago’s Salesforce Tower, a 60-story mixed-use skyscraper located at 333 W Wolf Point Plaza in River North. Developed by Hines in partnership with the Joseph P. Kennedy Family, the tower serves as the third and final phase of the Wolf Point masterplan. Standing at a height of 850 feet, the tower makes a substantial appearance on the northwest corner of the skyline, particularly when viewed from the southeast along the Kennedy Expressway.

Salesforce Tower Core Reaches Two-Thirds Mark in River North

The concrete core for Salesforce Tower Chicago is now at roughly the two-thirds height mark, set to rise 60 stories at the southwest tip of River North. The 1.2 million-square-foot skyscraper at 333 W Wolf Point Plaza is the final staple in a three-building masterplan known as Wolf Point, developed by Hines and in partnership with the Joseph P. Kennedy Family. The Wolf Point parcel is just under three acres, occupying an outcrop that borders the confluence of the Chicago River. This land has served a swath of purposes since the first settling of Chicago, ranging from a parking lot prior to the current development all the way back to the site of the city’s first tavern.

Core work has reached several floors above grade for Salesforce Tower Chicago, originally known as Wolf Point South, a 60-story office building on the River North side of the Chicago River’s confluence. Kennedy Family, the skyscraper will measure 813 feet to its pinnacle, qualifying as the seventh tallest project in Chicago YIMBY’s year-end development countdown.
