Located on the northeast corner with E 65th Place, the new building will replace a vacant lot with its front facade facing south onto 65th. The Chicago Plan Commission approved the proposal’s Lakefront Protection Ordinance application submitted by developer DOM Acquisitions LLC, with Hanna Architects working on its design.
A conditional permit has been issued for a three-story residential project to be located at 1757 W Le Moyne Street in Wicker Park. This new four-unit development by Whittemore Properties LLC will replace two frame residences under the addresses 1459 and 1461 N Wood Street.
A construction permit has been approved for a new mixed-use development at 503 E Pershing Road in Bronzeville. The project comprises a five-story building with 32 residential units and retail spaces on the first floor.

The project will feature a three-story building housing two dwelling units with a basement. Additional features of the design include a rear deck with stairs accessible from the 1st and 2nd stories, a rear stair leading to the 3rd story, a rooftop deck, a trellis, and a rooftop stair enclosure. This structure will replace a three-story frame residence.

The project is being led by I.L. Properties, LLC.
