The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development located at 37 S Sangamon Street in West Loop. Located across from Mary Bartelme Park, the project site is a corner lot at the intersection of S Sangamon Street and W Monroe Street. Fern Hill is the developer behind the proposal.
Structural work has passed the first level for an 11-story apartment building located at 1454 W Randolph Street in West Loop. Previously, the lot was occupied by a set of two-story masonry structures and a vacant lot.
Zoning has been approved for the proposed Northwestern Medicine Advanced Outpatient Care Center in Old Irving Park. Located at 4441 W Irving Park Road, the site spans the full block from N Kenneth Avenue to N Kilbourn Avenue. Planned by Northwestern Medicine, the development will replace multiple structures currently fronting W Irving Park Road.
Final exterior touches remain for a three-story climbing gym, the first stage of a larger mixed-use plan by Structured Development known as Big Deahl. Located at 1460 N Dayton Street in Near North Side, the facility will house a new Planet Granite and on-site parking with 16 spaces.
