Four demolition permits have been issued at West Loop‘s 1032-44 W Madison Street, clearing the way for a new six-story development known as Madison + Carpenter. Developed by ZSD Corp and located officially at 6 N Carpenter Street, the mixed-use project will house ground-level retail and 13 condominiums on the upper floors.
Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story masonry building situated at 4437 W Adams Street in West Garfield Park.
Demolition has begun at the site of 1200 W Carroll Avenue, located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market. Planned by Sterling Bay, the replacing 14-story development will reach a total height of 227 feet and feature nearly 485,000 square feet of Class A office space.
Demolition permits have been issued for three masonry buildings located at 3415-25 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View. Developed by Contemporary Concepts in partnership with Wildwood Investments, the replacing project will be a four-story residential building, with a total of 53 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. Five of these units will be affordable housing under the city’s Affordable Requirements Ordinance.
