Demolition is nearing completion for a planned nine-story mixed-use building located at 4601 N Broadway in Uptown. John Buck Company and Free Market Ventures are co-planning the project, which will include 12,000 square feet of ground-level retail, 200 apartments, and resident amenity spaces including a rooftop deck.

The designation also allows for a floor area ratio of 2.2, whereby any new construction may have the square footage of up to 2.2 times of the lot itself.
