Demolition permits were issued just yesterday for the removal of a frame two-story mixed-use building located at 902 N Ashland Avenue in the West Town neighborhood. The demo will also include a detached frame garage.
The permit owner is listed as 902 N Ashland LLC, and there are currently no plans to indicate the scope of any future developments on this lot. Precision Excavation LLC will be acting as the demolition contractor on this project.
The lot is very well situated with CTA L access nearby for the Blue Line at Division station via an eight-minute walk north. Bus service for Routes 9 and 9X can be found at the Ashland & Chicago stop via a two-minute walk south. There are many dining and retail options available along nearby W Chicago Avenue which are readily accessed by foot.
