Structural work is close to topping out at 800 W Fulton Market, where developer Thor Equities has planned an 18-story office tower yielding a total 472,000 square feet. Since the last construction update, two of the final floors have been added and work has begun on the glass and brick facade.
Recent photos show construction nearing completion for the final section of the Navy Pier Flyover, an above-grade portion of the Lakefront Trail that stretches close to third of a mile in length. Due to its staggered development timeline, the project currently serves cyclists and pedestrians via its completed first two phases, while the third phase alongside Outer Drive Bridge is still under construction.
Structural work has reached the top floor of Sedgwick Development‘s 15-story 146 W Erie Street, aka The Bentham, a residential and retail mixed-use development in River North.
Construction is nearly two-thirds complete for the infrastructure improvements on the Jane Byrne (formerly Circle) Interchange, near the southern edge of West Loop.
Foundation work is progressing at 1400 Monroe, located at 1400 W Monroe Street in the West Loop neighborhood. Photos of the site from this week show concrete pouring for the partially-completed foundation, as well as additional on-site equipment. JK Equities is developing the seven-story residential development with 42 condominium units.
