Construction Wraps Up On Goettsch Partners’ 110 N Wacker in the Loop

Construction work is nearing completion on 110 N Wacker, a 56-story office tower reaching 817-feet tall at its namesake address of 110 N Wacker Drive in the Loop. Located on a riverside full-block lot along N Wacker Drive between W Washington Street and W Randolph Street, the project is designed by architect Goettsch Partners and developed by the Howard Hughes Corporation and Riverside Investment & Development.

New Photos and Visualizations Show Future Impact of Wolf Point South on Downtown Core

YIMBY has image updates for the future 813-foot-tall Wolf Point South in River North after providing permit updates earlier this week. The 58-story office tower at 333 W Wolf Point Plaza will be the third and final installation of River North’s Wolf Point complex. A recent photo captured the caissons, concrete, and rebar beginning to form a portion of the footprint. Despite a single mobile crane currently occupying the site, freestanding crane permits have been approved, with installation likely imminent as foundation work continues.

YIMBY has a progress report on the 41-story residential development at 369 W Grand Avenue, with a 449-foot-tall tower that recently topped out in southwest corner of the River North neighborhood. The property is a longer-rectangle shape at the southwest corner of W Grand Avenue and N Orleans Street. The site also lies near three bus routes, including a two-minute walk west to Route 65’s Grand & Kingsbury, as well as a one-minute walk east to Route 37 and Route 125’s Orleans & Grand. Nearby CTA L access includes a seven-minute walk southeast to Merchandise Mart Station, which is serviced by the Brown and Purple Lines. Notable nearby locations also include Merchandise Mart, Chicago’s largest building, and a major restaurant scene beginning around two blocks east.
