Construction has wrapped up for Episteme Luxury‘s four-story residential building at 1802 S State Street, located in South Loop. Financed by Heartland Bank, the project consists of 39 condominium residences across 23 different floor plans, comprising of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.
Exterior work is nearly complete for The Rosie, a seven-story mixed-use building located at 1461 S Blue Island Avenue, near the southeast corner of Chicago’s Little Italy. Planned by CEDARst and Origin Investments, the project will host 202 apartments as well as 7,600 square feet of retail space. The project lies within in a federal opportunity zone, whereby the developers agree to build in an economically distressed vicinity in exchange for tax incentives. Seven of the on-site units will also be affordable, a figure that was approved prior to an updated housing requirement, whereby at least 20 percent of units must be affordable for new projects in the area.
Recent photos show rapid progress on window installation and masonry cladding for a seven-story mixed-use building located at 300 W Division Street in Near North Side. The developer The Domain Group has planned retail space on the ground floor, with 89 total apartments above. Of the units, 65 will be single bedrooms, while the remaining 24 will be studio apartments. A parking garage will also be integrated into the rear end of the structure, though the exact number of spaces is not currently known.
Exterior cladding has reached the 13th floor of the now topped-out Bentham Chicago, a mixed-use building rising 15 stories in River North. Both designed and developed by Sedgwick Development, the 172-foot-tall tower will house retail at its base, with 31 condominiums on the floors above.
Cladding work is progressing rapidly towards completion at a new three-story climbing gym located at 1460 N Dayton Street in Near North Side.
