A demolition permit was issued Wednesday, April 23 for 3633 North Sheffield Avenue in Wrigleyville, the second of three buildings beyond the right-field wall of Wrigley Field to be torn down for redevelopment. 3631 and 3627 North Sheffield are also being razed, with only rubble remaining of 3631, the middle building of the three. A permit for the third razing has yet to be issued, while 3631 North Sheffield. the “Torco Building,” got one on February 25.

New details have been revealed for the long-anticipated DuSable Park, located at 401 N DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville. Situated on a small peninsula east of the highway, the park has been in development for years, alongside the rapidly rising 400 N Lake Shore Drive project next door. Permit Issued To Build 12 Residential Units At 515 West Elm Street In Near North

A permit has been issued by the City of Chicago to begin construction of a five-story, 12-unit building at 515 West Elm Street in the Cabrini-Green neighborhood on the Near North Side. Cabrini LLC of Northwoods, IL is named as the developer. They filed an application for the permit on January 20 of this year, and it comes with a reported cost of just over $4 million.
