Work is underway on the complete reconstruction of the Metra Electric Line’s 95th Street station in Roseland. Located at the northeast corner of Chicago State University, at the intersection with South Cottage Grove Avenue, the new station house will restore an existing brick building and demolish another to allow for expansion.

A demolition permit has been issued by the City of Chicago to remove the single-story commercial building at 1412 West Belmont Avenue in Lake View. The Alverna Group LLC is the recipient of the permit, which came through on June 3rd. It names L. Kearney Inc as the demo contractor and cites a reported cost of $15,000.
The City of Chicago has officially selected 1Fifteen at Michigan Station as the winner of the Roseland Michigan Avenue RFQ. The selection comes nearly three years after the RFQ was initially issued in 2022 under the Invest South/West initiative. The development will replace a large vacant lot at the corner of Michigan Avenue and E 115th Street.
A construction permit has been issued by the City of Chicago to begin a residential development at Irving Park Road and Seeley Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The Irving will be a five-story, 37-unit project that replaces a small commercial plaza at 2035 West Irving Park Road that was demolished in 2024 to make way for redevelopment.
Initial details have been revealed for the expansion of 360 Chicago, located at the top of 875 N Michigan Avenue, commonly known as the John Hancock Center. Sitting on the northern end of the Magnificent Mile, which has seen increased retail vacancy, the project comes two years after the famed Signature Room closed its doors.
