Framing work has begun for the first row of townhomes on Cambridge Avenue in Lincoln Park, site of the former Cenacle Retreat & Conference Center. Addressed as 2329 North Cambridge Avenue, the row of homes extends off a C-shaped portion of the street connected to Belden Avenue, a portion that could be mistaken for an alley. The first set of eight townhomes was permitted on April 2nd, two days before the permit for 2333 North Cambridge came through.

Caissons are complete and excavation is currently underway at the site, located at 205 West Superior Street. The entity of The Lake Property Owner LLC got a foundation permit for the five-story private club in November of last year. Bulley & Andrews is the general contractor, with GREC Architects named as architect of record.

The two-story athletic facility designed by Moody Nolan is expected to be the first entity of the sprawling campus to open to the public, with an anticipated ribbon cutting late this year. Elevated Design Builders, a team formed by BOWA Construction and AECOM/Hunt, is the general contractor.

Three affordable single-family residences were permitted Tuesday by the City of Chicago on South Aberdeen Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The Resurrection Project is the developer of the new homes, as well as several others in the neighborhood that have already been authorized or have permits pending in the Chicago Data Portal. Deon Lucas of Beehyyve is the architect of record, with Toro Construction Corp of Orland Park named as the general contractor.

New Convention Center And Hotel Coming To Gary, Indiana

Located at 5400 W 29th Avenue, the Lake County Board of Commissioners selected their winning bid earlier this month, defeating a competing proposal from the city of Hobart, located further east.
