Located at the intersection of N Noble Street and W Chestnut Street, the development boundaries will include St. Boniface Church and the vacant land to the north and east of the church. Stas Development is the developer behind the proposal.
Renderings have been revealed for a proposed residential development at 4447 N Hazel Street in Uptown. Located on a corner lot, the project will replace an existing church at the intersection of N Hazel Street and W Sunnyside Avenue. Longford Construction is the developer behind the proposal.
Facade work is now underway for a five-story mixed-use development known as The Balaban, located at 4806 N Magnolia Avenue in Uptown.
Construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building at 963 W Montana Street in Lincoln Park. Filed under 961 W Montana LLC, the development will house eight units with two residences on each floor. Parking will include just two on-site spaces and storage for eight bikes. An approved ordinance in September 2019 reclassified the property from an RM-5 Multi-Unit designation to a B2-3 Mixed-Use district designation, which allows for either retail or apartments at ground level.
Exterior work is near complete for a four-story mixed-use building known as Halsted Apartments, located at 3312 N Halsted Street in Lakeview East.
