Located at the intersection of W Irving Park Road and N Seeley Avenue, the project site is a corner lot, currently occupied by a one-story strip mall. Campbell Street Asset Management is the developer behind the proposal.
The Chicago City Council has approved plans for a residential development at 4447 N Hazel Street in Uptown. Located on a corner lot, the project will replace an existing church at the intersection of N Hazel Street and W Sunnyside Avenue. Longford Construction is the developer behind the proposal.

Located on a midblock site, the property is along N Lincoln Avenue between W Byron Street and W Irving Park Road. The parcel encompasses a vacant lot, a vacant storefront, and an orange-rated building at 3930 N Lincoln Avenue containing the Crawford Plumbing Supply company. Longford Construction the developer behind the proposal.
Cladding is nearing completion for a five-story mixed-use building at 4806 N Magnolia Avenue in Uptown. Dubbed “The Balaban” after the owners behind the adjacent Uptown Theatre, the project is behind developed by JAB Real Estate and will replace a former parking lot. Programming will yield ground-level retail and 54 apartments on the four upper floors. Of the 54 units, 10 will be studios. Parking will offer 27 surface spaces located in the rear.
Full construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building set for 1838 N Western Avenue in Logan Square. Planned by Comet Development LLC, the project had a demolition permit issued for the prior single-story masonry building last August, with the latest construction permits issued this past Monday.
