Phase II of City Club Apartments MDA Nears Completion at The Loop’s 60 E Benton Place

Work is rapidly nearing completion for a mixed-use, multi-building development known as 1100 W Fulton Market, located within West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood. The project has been developed by Fulton St. Companies, with additional backing from Huizenga Capital Management. Herman Miller, which recently began leasing the 1100 W Fulton Market property, will serve as the single tenant for the buildings. Herman Miller’s new space will include its retail offerings and a showroom on the first floor, and accessory office space on the floors above.
Exterior work is rapidly underway on the recently topped-out 17-story 808 N Wells Street, known as AMLI 808, in Near North Side. Developed by AMLI, the mixed-use project will include retail space at the ground level and 318 residences above, according to most recent construction permits issued this past spring. The most recent zoning amendment also shows that the tower will stand 225 feet in height. AMLI has not yet listed pricing and availability.
JDL Development has revealed plans for the proposed North Union development in Near North Side. Generally bounded by the CTA Brown Line tracks and W Oak Street, W Chestnut Street, and N Wells Street, the North Union site will span eight acres. Consisting of 15 buildings across the entire property, the design team includes Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, Goettsch Partners, Latent Design, and Omni Workshop.
Exterior work is well underway for the seven-story mixed-use building in Little Italy known as Pilsen Gateway, not to be confused with another building with the same name in East Pilsen. The 202-rental-unit project is a partnership between developers Cedar Street and Origin Investments.
