Photos from this past week show the recently completed facade of 1032 W Fulton Market, a two-structure, boutique office development in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood.
Work is currently underway on the conversion of the historic 15-story office tower at 226 W Jackson Boulevard in The Loop. The building is the former headquarters of Chicago & North Western Railway and most recently was the headquarters building for City Colleges of Chicago. Located at the northeast corner of W Jackson Boulevard and S Franklin Street, the edifice is across the street from the Willis Tower, formerly Sears Tower. Phoenix Development Partners is in charge of this development, with an estimated development cost of $136 million, which includes the property acquisition cost of $32.7 million.
The Commission on Chicago Landmarks (CCL) has granted approval to a new building at 1020 W Randolph Street in the West Loop. Located within Fulton-Randolph Market District, and the northeast corner of W Randolph Street and N Carpenter Street, the development looks to demolish a one-story bank with drive-through and construct a new five-story structure with mechanical enclosure, penthouse, and rooftop deck. The project is being led by L3 Capital, who will also be applying for a zoning ordinance for the site.
Exterior work is wrapping up at 318 N Carpenter Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood.
