Photos show the completed exterior work for CMK Companies‘ 29-story mixed-use tower known as Imprint Chicago, located at 717 S Clark Street in the Printer’s Row neighborhood. Rising 315 feet high and having opened earlier this fall, the building ranks 26th in YIMBY’s December countdown of the city’s tallest new developments.

Imprint contains ground-level retail with 349 residential units above. Currently listed unit sizes range from a 478-square-foot studio to a 3,276-square-foot duplex penthouse residence with four bedrooms. These multi-floor units on the 26th through 29th floors will also have accompanying terrace spaces.

Meanwhile, outdoor spaces consist of an expansive fifth-floor terrace with grilling stations and fire pits, a yoga platform, a dog run, and a top-floor outdoor observation deck.

Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, the project’s tower portion is encapsulated by a reflective all-glass curtain wall that seems to dissolve into the sky as it rises. 26th floor terraces jut out from the facade and appear to float at some angles, while the 29th-floor unit terraces are formed by a setback that rounds around the floor.

Immediate bus access includes the adjacent Route 24 at Clark/Polk, while additional stops for Routes 24 and 22, can be found steps to the north at Clark & Harrison. Within a five-minute walk includes Routes 2, 6, 29, 36, 62, and 146.

For those wishing to board the CTA L, nearest stations include the Blue Line’s LaSalle a five-minute walk north and the Red Line’s Harrison via a six-minute walk northeast. All other lines are available slightly further north at multiple Loop stations.

The surrounding Printer’s Row neighborhood consists of a variety of boutique shops, restaurants, and other commercial venues, punctuated by the iconic Dearborn station. Just south of Imprint are a series of outdoor green spaces dotting the Dearborn Park neighborhood.

Lendlease served as the general contractor for the project, that has only final ground-level touches remaining. Occupancy has already begun, with listings available via the marketing website.
