Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 2633 N Emmett Street in Logan Square. 2633 N Emmett LLC is the filing owner and developer, whose plans include four total units, a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, front and rear decks on the first and second floors, and a detached four-car garage with a separate rooftop deck. The project is set to replace a two-story frame residence and detached garage.
Full construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building set for 1838 N Western Avenue in Logan Square. Planned by Comet Development LLC, the project had a demolition permit issued for the prior single-story masonry building last August, with the latest construction permits issued this past Monday.
The Commission on Chicago Landmarks has approved an Adopt-A-Landmark Grant for the Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church of Chicago. Located at 2614 N Kedzie Avenue in Logan Square, the historic church is located between W Wrightwood Avenue and N Milwaukee Avenue overlooking Logan Square Park.
Demolition permits have been issued for a single-story masonry commercial garage located at 3600 W Cortland Street in Logan Square. Lukasz Koziol is the filing owner, whose plans for the site have not yet been disclosed. However, the property is currently zoned for B3-1, which allows for shopping centers, large stores, and retail storefronts, as well as apartments above the ground floor. B3-1 also permits a floor area ratio of 1.2, whereby any new building may have up to 1.2 times the square footage of that of the lot itself. Additionally, the maximum building height under this designation is 38 feet.
Renderings have been revealed for a proposed residential building at 2934 W Medill Avenue in Logan Square. Located along W Medill Avenue, the development will be bound by public alleyways to the west and north of the site. Wilmot Properties is the developer behind the proposed project.
