The Committee on Zoning has recommended the approval of the mixed-use development at 2354 and 2355 N Washtenaw Avenue in Logan Square. Located on the intersection with W Fullerton Avenue across the street from Haas Park, the two-structure project will replace a one-story non-historical bank and a parking lot on both sides south of the crossing. Developer Hibernian Development is working with local firm 360 Design Studio on the nearly identical buildings which gained approval after various redesigns.

A new set of plans have been revealed for a new residential building at 2429 W Fullerton Avenue in Logan Square. The current developer, SNS Realty Group, had bought the site from a previous developer with a different scope and design. This latest proposed iteration will offer 36 total units, split evenly between one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. Seven of the units will be affordable under ARO guidelines.

A conditional permit was issued earlier this week for a new three-story residential building at 2418 N Linden Place in the Logan Square neighborhood. The owner is listed as Jason E. Krynski and the permit lists Christopher Bremer as the architect of record for the build. Though renderings have not been made public we do know that this build will contain six units, a roof deck, and rear porches on all floors. Plans also show the presence of an accompanying six-vehicle garage.

Permits have been issued for an upcoming mixed-use development at 2934 W Medill Avenue in Logan Square. Located just west of the intersection with N Milwaukee Avenue, the upcoming proposal will replace a long-term vacant lot bound by a public alley, the CTA Blue Line tracks, and a parking lot popular with local skaters. Developer Wilmot Properties is working with Chicago-based designers Hanna Architects who is known for their smaller scale projects across the north side.
