With a reported construction price tag of $40 million, the seven-story edifice provides 4,300 square feet of retail, along with 100 affordable units on the upper floors. Of these units, half will be available to Section 8 Chicago Housing Authority voucher holders, while the remaining are available via the application process.

Prior to demolition and subsequent construction, the roughly half-acre property was occupied by a single-story bakery and a parking lot.
