New construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building located at 6135 S Kimbark Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The parcel is addressed as 6131 S Kimbark Avenue. The permit lists McInerney Builders as the owner of the record. Plans indicate nine total units and a detached five-car garage in the rear. Before this development, the property was occupied by a frame residence.
Final facade touches can be seen at 120 N Willard Court, a five-story residential building just south of the Randolph Street in West Loop. The development will replace a pre-Chicago Fire single-family residence, which received demolition permits last December. The project is set to yield seven total units and seven parking spaces.

This latest 35-unit scope comes at the heels of two previous versions put forward by Hibernian Development, one of which consisted of 27 total units, the other with 48 total units.

Located just north of the intersection with W Leland Avenue near the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery on a stretch of road that is a part of the ongoing Clark Street Crossroads initiative, the new project will replace an existing one-story bank and drive-thru that is currently vacant. Developer Platinum Homes is working with local architecture firm 360 Design Studio on the new structure on the dominant corner.
