The Committee on Zoning has recommended the approval of the mixed-use development at 2354 and 2355 N Washtenaw Avenue in Logan Square. Located on the intersection with W Fullerton Avenue across the street from Haas Park, the two-structure project will replace a one-story non-historical bank and a parking lot on both sides south of the crossing. Developer Hibernian Development is working with local firm 360 Design Studio on the nearly identical buildings which gained approval after various redesigns.

Construction is now crossing the finish line for 120 N Willard Court, aka “120 Willard”, a five-story residential building situated just south of Randolph Street in West Loop. Developed by PLD Custom Homes, this development will replace a pre-Chicago Fire single-family residence, which was demolished in December 2022, and will provide seven housing units and a seven-vehicle parking garage.

Alderman James Cappleman released a press report backing the project, located just north of the intersection with W Leland Avenue. It will be replacing a one-story drive-thru bank that currently sits vacant, with developer Platinum Homes proposing the new multi-story building designed by 360 Design Studio across the street from Chase Park.
