Construction Update From 4713 North Clark Street In Uptown

Construction on a five-story, 36-unit residential project at 4713 North Clark Street continues upward in Uptown. Developer and general contractor Platinum Homes received a building permit on January 6th of this year, and now their crew has reached the underside of the third floor. The construction site, on the northeast corner of Clark Street and Leland Avenue, formerly held a Byline Bank branch that was permitted for demolition in 2022 to allow redevelopment to begin.

A pair of condominiums are nearing completion at 1506 West Henderson Street in the Lake View neighborhood. The homes replace an 1897-built structure and its adjoining coach house that were permitted for demolition in August of last year. Real estate records show that property was sold to the developer, V & M Development, for $929,000 last year.

1547 North Wieland Street construction permitted

Condo Building Permitted For Second Time At 1547 North Wieland Street In Old Town

Permission has been granted by the City of Chicago for the construction of a six-unit building at 1547 North Wieland Street in the Old Town neighborhood. The permit was issued on April 1, with an application date of November 18, 2024. The reported cost of the construction is $2.525 million. The property is currently vacant.

Exterior Work Continues On Two Condos At 1445 West Roscoe Street In Lake View

Construction progress is ongoing at 1445 West Roscoe Street in Lake View, where MMNT Development LLC is erecting a two-unit condominium building. V & M Development of Evanston is the general contractor for the project, which received a permit from the City of Chicago on August 29 of last year, following an application five weeks previous on July 23. At the time of issuance, construction costs were reported as $756,000.

1313 West Wrightwood Avenue construction

1313 West Wrightwood Rapidly Outpacing Its Neighbor In Lincoln Park

Construction progress has reached the underside of the third floor at 1313 West Wrightwood, the three-unit condominium project in the Wrightwood Neighbors section of Lincoln Park from Drimnagh Development. It’s one of two adjacent properties that saw demolition of 1890s-era homes simultaneously in October of last year, but 1317 next door has yet to begin new construction.

2841 North Southport Avenue construction

A three-unit residential building at 2841 North Southport Avenue is getting closer to delivery in the Lake View neighborhood. Brick work is starting to make its way up the front facade as Bachula Development continues their progress on the topped-out four-story structure.

Site prep is complete, and foundation work has begun, for a new residential development on a former Byline Bank site in Uptown. Platinum Homes received a new construction permit to build at 4713 North Clark Street on January 6, and work is underway for a five-story masonry structure on the northeast corner with Leland Avenue.

Two Single Family Homes Permitted For South Lyman Street In Bridgeport

A pair of single-family residences have been permitted for a triangular lot on South Lyman Street in the Bridgeport neighborhood. Both permits, for 3069 and 3073 South Lyman, were issued on January 31 after applications were filed on October 5 of last year. Treic LLC, registered in Hinsdale, is the developer, and they’ve used 360 Design Studio for architectural plans.

Construction Permit Issued For 36 Units At Clark & Leland In Uptown

A new construction permit has been issued to allow for a 36-unit apartment building on the northeast corner of Clark Street and Leland Avenue in Uptown. Using the address of 4713 North Clark, the City of Chicago released the permit on January 6, 2025. The residential development replaces a single-story masonry building most recently home to Byline Bank. That structure was permitted for demolition in February 2022, then demolished in January of 2023.

Excavation Work Underway For Four-Flat At 1838 West Addison In North Center

Excavation work is underway for a new residential development at 1838 West Addison Street in North Center. Tir Conaill Concrete was assigned to teardown duties when a demolition permit was issued by the city back in August, and now that the previous home has been razed, they’re digging out the foundation for the future four-flat.
