Construction of a three-story building containing six new condos continues at 3121 North Clybourn Avenue in the North Center Community Area of Chicago. Platinum Homes Development, which is also the general contractor, is building the residences next door to another six-unit building that is very close to opening.
3121 North Clybourn was permitted by the City of Chicago on August 15, 2023. Estimated construction costs at that time were $1.65 million. Planned by 360 Design Studio, the building includes front balconies, a rooftop deck, and a six-vehicle parking garage. It is the spitting image of its next-door neighbor to the north, 3125 North Clybourn. Various real estate sites show condos in that building have sold or are contingent as of the past few weeks.
3121 and 3125 North Clybourn were permitted two weeks apart, and even though 3121 got permission first, 3125 will be completed sooner. A two-story building at 3123 and a three-story building at 3127 North Clybourn were demolished to make space for the 12 new condos.
Residents of condos at 3121 and 3125 North Clybourn are one block southeast of the Western/Belmont/Clybourn intersection. Here, they’ll have access to stops for Routes 77, 49, and X40 CTA buses.

Love to see it. This stretch of Clybourn is SCREAMING for another coffee shop. HEXE does extremely well just three blocks South. The black building across the street that is almost done should have a small business coffee shop in it. That would do a lot of business. Clybourn would look so much better if it had a bumped-out bike lane or some trees.
