Initial Plans Revealed For Residential Development At 2821 N Orchard Street In Lake View East

Initial plans have been revealed for a residential development at 2821 N Orchard Street in Lake View East. Located just north of the intersection with W Diversey Parkway, the new project will replace an existing 3-story home that dates back to 1891. The drawings from an undisclosed developer were made public via the office of 44th Ward Alderman Tom Tunney, revealing local firm Hanna Architects as the designer of the new structure.

Facade Work Underway for 2406 W Armitage Avenue in Logan Square

Facade construction can be seen at the site of 2406 W Armitage Avenue, a five-story mixed-use development in Logan Square. The corner property, located at the intersection of W Armitage Avenue and N Western Avenue, was previously occupied by a vacant one-story bank building, demolished last year.

City Council Approves Residential Development At 2236 W Cermak Avenue In Heart Of Chicago

The Chicago City Council has approved a zoning application for a residential development at 2236 W Cermak Avenue in Heart Of Chicago. Located just east of the intersection with S Oakley Avenue, the project will replace a vacant lot near the industrial area of the Chicago River’s southern branch. Developer 2236 Cermak LLC has partnered up with local design firm Hanna Architects who have worked on various other smaller residential buildings across the city.

Permits Issued for Development at 605 N Ashland Avenue in West Town

Permits have been issued for a new residential development at 605 N Ashland Avenue in West Town. The site is located on a rectangular lot that is bound by W Ohio Street to the south and a public alley to the north. The new construction will replace an existing three-story masonry structure with a rear garage. The developer is Lux Living 4U, LLC with Hanna Architects on the modern design. YIMBY reported on the development earlier this year when zoning was approved.

A new residential development at 1021 W Polk Street in Little Italy has reached its full three-story height. The construction process began last year after the pre-existing two-story brick building on the lot was demolished.

City Council Approves Residential Development At 1800 W 17th Street In Pilsen

The Chicago City Council has approved a new residential development at 1800 W 17th Street in Pilsen. Located west of the intersection with W Wood Street, the new proposal replaces an empty lot in a heavily residential area not too far from the National Museum of Mexican Art, and just south of Union Pacific Global yard and tracks. Developer SBSS Holdings LLC is working with local design firm Hanna Architects, who are known for their small-scale neighborhood projects across the city, on the new multi-unit property in the bustling neighborhood.

Final Construction Spotted for 2442 W Division Street in West Town
