Last week, structural work reached the 510-foot-tall pinnacle of a new 47-story mixed-use skyscraper, located at 300 N Michigan Avenue in The Loop. The development is a joint-partnership between Sterling Bay and Magellan Development Group, whose plans entail a combination of retail in the base, a hotel on floors six through 15, and apartments on floors 17 through 45.
Construction equipment is now on site, with foundation work imminent for Sterling Bay‘s first building at Lincoln Yards. This new structure, known as ALLY at 1229 W Concord, will serve as an eight-story office venue for bioscience-related companies. At 320,000 square feet, the edifice will feature a double-story lobby, flexible floor plates, and an east-facing terrace with river and skyline views.
Caisson drilling has officially begun for Sterling Bay‘s planned 345 N Morgan Street, set to rise 11 stories in West Loop‘s Fulton Market District. The 200,000-square-foot edifice will feature ground-floor commercial space, office space, and tenant amenities.

Sterling Bay is the developer behind the boutique 200,000-square-foot project, which will yield both ground-level retail and offices on the upper floors. Prior to construction, the site has been occupied by an empty lot, which Sterling Bay acquired in 2014.
Renderings have been revealed for a proposed mixed-use development at 1245 W Fulton Market in Fulton Market. Fronting W Fulton Market, the project site is located at the intersection of N Elizabeth Street and W Fulton Market. The property is currently a vacant lot. Sterling Bay is the developer behind the proposal.
