Construction has wrapped up on the renovation of the Skydeck at the Willis Tower in The Loop. The completion of the work is a milestone in the larger transformation of the 110-story Willis Tower, built in 1973 and the tallest building in the world for 25 years. Blackstone Group and EQ Office are the developers and owners of the Willis Tower.
Core work has fully topped out for the 52-story, 727-foot-tall office tower at 320 S Canal Street in West Loop Gate.
Chicago City Council has fully approved a mixed-use development located at 160 N Elizabeth Street in West Loop. Located at the intersection of W Randolph Street and N Elizabeth Street, the project site is currently occupied by two masonry buildings. The property is bound by a public alley to the north, N Elizabeth Street to the east, W Randolph Street to the south, and a one-story commercial building to the west. Moceri + Roszak is the developer behind the project.
Exterior construction is now complete for a 13-story mixed-use building at 320 N Sangamon Street in West Loop. A joint effort by Tishman Speyer and Mark Goodman & Associates, the 270,000-square-foot project will house a mix of ground-level retail and office space on the above floors. Office floor plates will vary between 24,800 and 28,200 square feet, while stretching 13 feet from slab to slab.
