Construction work is now at the third floor for Broadway Youth Center, a new interdisciplinary youth center located at 1023 W Irving Park Road in Lake View.
Structural work has reached the fourth floor for 949 W Dakin Street, a seven-story mixed-use project planned by Draper & Kramer and located in Lake View. Programming will consist of 13,000 square feet of commercial space at ground level, divided into 1,300- and 2,200-square-foot units. The six upper floors will house a total of 120 apartments, 108 of which will be single bedrooms and the remaining 12 as two-bedrooms.
Permits have been issued for a four-story mixed-use building located at 3714 N Southport Avenue in Lake View. Filed under owner Charles Stewart, the development will yield one commercial unit at ground level, with three residential units above. Parking will include three outdoor spaces in the rear of the building. The new structure is set to replace a two-story masonry building with one additional level of below-grade retail.
Permits have been issued for a three-story residential building located at 3235 N Lakewood Avenue in Lake View. The development is filed under O’Neill Development Group, and is set to house four total units, along with four rear decks, a private roof deck, two penthouse enclosures, and a detached frame garage for five cars. The new structure will replace a previously occupying two-story masonry building.
