Core construction has nearly reached its full height for the seven-story mixed-use development at 949 W Dakin Street, located near the northeast corner of Lake View. The developer Draper and Kramer has planned 13,000 square feet of ground-level retail space, with 120 residential units above.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 1119 W Newport Avenue, located near the center of Lake View. The owner, filed under 1121 W Newport LLC, is planning a masonry structure that will contain a total of three dwelling units. The project will also include a basement, a rooftop stairway enclosure, a rear open deck/porch, and a three-car garage.
Permits have been issued for a four-story mixed-use building, located at 3113 N Lincoln Avenue in Lake View. Filed under a different address of 3118 N Greenview Avenue, the slightly V-shaped lot lies just north of the intersection between N Lincoln Avenue, N Greenview Avenue, and W Barry Avenue. The owner, Barrett Homes, plans to include nine residential units atop ground-floor commercial space. A rooftop deck will also be included within the programming.
Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story residential masonry building and a detached frame garage, located at 3644 N Greenview Avenue in Lake View.
Work is moving closer to topping out for Lake View‘s 3839 N Clark Street, where Clark Apartments LLC has planned a five-story residential building. According to permits issued this past January, the development will also include garage space on the ground floor, as well as a fitness center on the top floor.
