Permits have been issued for a new three-story residential building located at 3731 N Kenmore Avenue in Lake View, just north of Wrigleyville. With its permit listed under the owner name 3731 Kenmore LLC, the three-unit project will come with a basement, a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, a front balcony, and a rear porch and staircase spanning the full height. Previously, the site was occupied by a two-story frame residence and a detached frame garage.

Hanna Architects is the listed architect of record. No drawings or renderings of the new design have yet been revealed, though the permit’s multiple masonry contractors suggest a masonry design.
Residents will also have access to a detached three-car parking garage, though various public transportation options also lie within the immediate area. The closest bus transit in the vicinity consists of Route 22, available via a four-minute walk southwest to Clark & Waveland. Also within a 10-minute walk is Route 152 to the southwest, Routes 8 and 36 to the east, and Routes X9 and 80 to the north. Those looking to board the CTA L will find Red Line service via Addison station, a six-minute walk southeast.
The property resides just a two-minute walk north of Wrigley Field, while a host of various bar and restaurant options are accessible within a five-minute walk.
GB Construction LLC is the general contractor behind the nearly $750,000 construction, with no completion date yet announced.
