The Chicago City Council has fully approved a mixed-use development located at 1229 W Randolph Street in West Loop. Located at the intersection of W Randolph Start and N Willard Court, the corner lot currently houses a two-story masonry building. Thor Equities is the developer behind the proposal.
JDL Development has revealed updated plans for its 8.1-acre North Union megadevelopment in the Near North Side. Generally bounded by the CTA Brown Line tracks and W Oak Street, W Chestnut Street, and N Wells Street, the North Union site will spread across eight acres. The design team for the entire development includes Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, Latent Design, and Omni Workshop.
Zoning has been approved for the new Belmont Cragin Elementary School located at 6100 W Fullerton Avenue in Belmont Central. Located in the southeastern corner of Riis Park, the site sits at the intersection of W Fullerton Avenue and N Meade Avenue. Public Building Commission of Chicago is the developer for the project, representing Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Park District.
Zoning has been approved for the updated Big Deahl development, generally located at 1450 N Dayton Street in the Near North Side. The v-shaped project site is bound by N Kingsbury Street to the west, W Blackhawk Street to the north, and N Dayton Street to the east. Structured Development is in charge of the proposal.
Construction has topped out on the fourth building in PLSN Condos, located at 816-832 W Cullerton Street in Pilsen. Located along W Cullerton Street, the site is between S Halsted Street and S Peoria Street. Public 2 LLC is the developer behind the project.
