Construction is progressing on two residential buildings, part of the larger Southbridge development in the Near South Side. Addressed at 2310 S State Street and 2344 S State Street, the two buildings front along S State Street, between W 23rd Street and W 24th Street. The nearest public transportation is the 29 CTA bus route, running past the development on S State Street, with stops at 23rd and 24th Streets. The Cermak-McCormick Place CTA L station, serviced by the Green Line, is a five-minute walk away from the site.
Exterior and street-level work is drawing close to completion at 167 N Green Street, a 17-story mixed-use development located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood.
Recent photos show the final touches on Catalog, a 300,000-square-foot addition at the foot of the Willis Tower, formerly the Sears Tower. The project began welcoming visitors late last year, and both interior and exterior construction have continued alongside the partial occupancy.
Zoning has been approved for a new commercial development at 1200 W Carroll Avenue in the West Loop. The site is located along W Carroll Avenue, between N Racine Avenue and N Elizabeth Street, taking up most of the block on the northern side of the street. The northern edge of the site is bounded by the Metra tracks. The Morgan CTA L station, serviced by the Green and Pink Lines, is an eight-minute walk away. Sterling Bay is in charge of the development of the project.
